A while ago, we published a series of "One layout Slitherlink" puzzles where many authors vied with each other to make puzzles with the same layout. Many of you liked it, and now we'd like to try it again with Akari. We specified just the position of the black cells. In the Akari puzzles we got back, the ways the black cells are used in their positions is entirely different for the different authors, a wonderfully interesting trial with problems in just one layout. Please enjoy this dream of a contest with 21 authors.
You will find there are some very similar parts because the black cells are in the same positions. You may also find similar stratagems employed. Some puzzles don't reach the polish of regular problems but all are filled with the authors' originality. If you can get a taste of how much difference it is possible to bring to one layout, we will be very happy. Please try them out and enjoy the challenges.
