Then at Nikoli we thought that if we specify the layout, what differences in the flavor will the authors bring to the puzzles? And yes, we really tried it. As a start, we have decided to reduce the number of colors of the website. We have started by removing the brighter parts of the spectrum and you now have wretched, bland, and dull Nikoli pages on your display. This has been a painful decision made necessary to continue the site. We hope you appreciate our situation and agree with the decision.

Then at Nikoli we thought that if we specify the layout, what differences in the flavor will the authors bring to the puzzles? And yes, we really tried it.
